Welcome to our school!

Enrolment for the Summer term 2024 is now closed!

!!!We’re delighted about the great interest and high volume of enrolments every term – however, this also means that we’re still urgently looking for teachers and assistants in order to offer everyone a space.
More about the roles and prerequisites here.

The German Saturday School Bristol is a parent initiative for children aged 3.5 – 11 from bilingual families where German is spoken on a regular basis.

We teach German as a second language as opposed to German as a foreign language. Our most important aim is to have fun together, meet other bilingual families and support children to identify with German speaking countries, by sharing traditions and celebrations.

Lessons are on 24 Saturdays of the year (spread of 3 terms, each of 8 weeks). We meet from 10am to 12 noon in the Barton Hill Settlement.

During this time we also offer classes in German as a second language for adult parents and non-parents.  We have two classes of differing abilities.

If you fancy coming along, please get in touch with Kerstin on enrolment@bristol-schule.org  We look forward to welcoming you here.
